On October 3rd and 4th, members of the Hampton Beta Club attended a Leadership Conference at the Hot Springs Convention Center. Members attended sessions focused on how leaders relate to their peers and how attitude and perception can shape a situation.
Hampton Beta members were able to network with Betas from all over Arkansas as well as some Betas from other states.
While at this Leadership Conference, Matison Williams participated in the interview process to be a Leadership Ambassador. This is a very prestigious and competitive position since there are only 3 chosen for the state. Matison was not selected this year but did an excellent job representing our school and enjoyed the process.
A team of our Betas participated in “Lead Outside the Box”, a competition where you are given a scenario and asked to develop and present a plan of action. Our team did an excellent job and qualified to compete in this competition at National Convention this summer.
Betas who attended Left to Right: Kassidy Sanders, Rylee Oliver, Morgan Ogden, Amanda Moore, Kayon Thomas and Matison Williams.
