Congratulations to the HHS Track Teams who finished 3rd in the 2A-8 Sr Conference Track Meet! Out of this athletically talented list of students, seven qualified for the 2A State Track Meet that will take place Wednesday, May 6, 2026, in Quitman! If you see these students, be sure to congratulate them on their hard work! Go Bulldogs!
Sr Girls
*Audrey Bethea qualified for State in the 800, 1600, and 3200; finished 1st Place in all three races.
*Jakayla Stephens qualified for State in the 200, placing 1st. Stephens was on the 4x100 team that finished 2nd and qualified for State. She also finished 4th in the 100, 4th in the Long Jump, and 4th in the High Jump.
*Emalyn Patterson qualified for State on the 4x100 team that placed 2nd. She also finished 3rd on the 300m hurdles.
*Angelica Bearden qualified for State on the 4x100 team that placed 2nd.
*McKinley Jacobs qualified for State on the girls 4x100 team that finished 2nd.
Sr Boys
*Aeneas Braison qualified for State in the 300m hurdles after placing 1st. He also placed 4th in the 200, 6th in the High Jump, and 3rd in the Long Jump.
*Deondre Smith qualified for State in the High Jump after placing 1st.
*Aden Williams placed 5th in the 100 and 5th in the Triple Jump.
*Deundre Clarke placed 3rd in the High Jump.
*Tyson Momon placed 7th in the 400.
*Eli Moore placed 6th in the Long Jump.
*Jeremiah Robinson placed 6th in the 3200.
The 4x100m relay team made up of Aeneas Braison, Jaden Johnson, Deundre Clarke, and Tray Brown finished 4th.

Update: School will dismiss at regular time! Due to the threat of severe weather, Hampton Schools may dismiss LATE for the safety of students and staff. In the event of late dismissal, bus routes will be running behind schedule.

Due to the threat of severe weather today, the District Baseball and Softball Tournament in Gurdon has been postponed. Action now begins Wednesday, April 29. Hampton Baseball is scheduled for tomorrow at 2:00 PM, while Softball will take the field Thursday at 6:00 PM. Go Bulldogs!
The Softball Game that was scheduled for today has been cancelled.

Yesterday we celebrate Senior Aden Williams for officially signing to continue his football career at Lyon College!
Aden’s hard work, dedication, and determination have paid off, and we couldn’t be more proud of the young man he’s become—on and off the field. Not only is he taking his talents to the next level in football, but Aden is also pursuing a degree in teaching and coaching, showing his commitment to giving back and leading the next generation.
Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog — and now a Scot too! Congratulations, Aden! We can’t wait to see what you accomplish next!

Hampton High School Parents: Atlas testing is underway. HHS is operating on a regular schedule. All HHS students, including those NOT testing or those who finish early, are required to attend school for the entire school day.
