Hampton HS Beta members volunteered today to help the Arkansas Food Bank distribute food to residents of Calhoun County. Students were joined this month by not only community volunteers, but workers from REA, Entergy and from the Corporate Offices of Arkansas Food Bank. We want to thank all of the students who showed up. They arranged their semester tests so that they could volunteer their time on this last day of school. Some of these kids have volunteered every month because they understand that this is a service to our community and to many families. People were blown away by how hard our kids worked. They did an excellent job of representing our School and Beta Club. Great job, Bulldogs!

Hampton Elementary: We are excited to celebrate the holiday season with our Christmas parties tomorrow! As part of the fun, students are welcome to wear pajamas to school!

Hampton HS Band Students:
The Hampton Christmas Parade is 12/19/24. Mr. Williams thinks the parade should last 30-45 minutes. Students will need to have a responsible adult waiting to pick them up at the end of the parade route no later than 6:45pm or a note signed by a parent/guardian. School owned instruments will need to be returned to the music room. Dress for the parade is Christmas attire. You may wear Santa/Elf hats, Reindeer antlers, Rudolph noses, or put lights on your instruments if it does not interfere with your playing. Band schedule:
4:15pm…Arrive at the HHS Music Room
4:30pm…Sound Check
5:00pm…Parade Line-up Begins
6:00pm Parade Begins

HHS 8th grade student Elizabeth Escobar, participated in the Region 3 All-Region Honor Band December 13 & 14. Last week she auditioned against students from all across South Arkansas and was placed 4th on her instrument out of all those who participated from across all classifications from 7th, 8th, and 9th grades. At the clinic she had the opportunity to rehearse with approximately 100 other students. With just 8 hours of rehearsal, they performed a concert of music none of the students had seen before that day. Congratulations, Elizabeth for your outstanding achievement and hard work! You are a fine example of the exceptional students at Hampton High School. Go Bulldogs!

Yesterday the Elementary Students were greeted by a "visitor" when they arrived at school! We love that our staff is actively involved in our daily activities!

Hampton Art Teacher, Mrs. Simpson, wanted to brag on the High School art students! They did an interpretation of mosaic art using magazines and did an amazing job! All of these pictures were created by searching through magazines to find the color they needed, cutting it out, and gluing it piece by piece! Great job, Bulldogs!
