Hampton High School Senior Matison Williams has been selected to receive a $1000 scholarship from the National Beta Club. Each year National Beta grants around $300,000 in scholarships through an application process for Seniors. Matison was one of only 257 recipients from over 2,700 applicants from across the United States and several other countries. This also makes her a semifinalist with the chance to win one of the top 10 scholarships that range from $2500 to $20,000. These will be announced at National Convention in June.
Matison is the daughter of Matt and Caira Williams of Hampton. She has been an active member of Beta Club for 4 years. She has participated in many service projects and has received honors at both State and National Convention.
